We steward and license the work of sculptor Lawrence Argent — the artist behind Denver's Big Blue Bear — and partner with brands to bring his sense of scale and play into new spaces.
The Artist
Lawrence Argent (1957–2017) was a Denver-based sculptor known for monumental, unexpectedly playful public art — a forty-foot cobalt bear pressing its paws against convention-center glass, a fifty-foot panda scaling a shopping mall in Chengdu, a ninety-two-foot stainless-steel spiral inspired by the Venus de Milo.
His work asked a simple question over and over: how little can you show of something and still have people recognize it, and stop? Argent Studios is run by his family. We manage the estate, license his imagery and forms for limited collaborations, and work with brands who want that same sense of scale and wonder in their own spaces.

Twelve major public commissions, from Denver to Chengdu to San Francisco.
